Welcome to the Beth Shalom Congregation!

Congregation Beth Shalom is a voice for the Jewish people in the Brazos Valley. We are a member of the Union of Reform Judaism (URJ) and the Institute of Southern Jewish Life (ISJL). Our membership comes from various cultural backgrounds, parts of the country, and the world. Our ages range from infants to senior seniors. In other words, we are families, singles, southerners, northerners, students, professionals, artists, and just plain folk. We welcome all those who wish to worship or socialize as Jews. We have an active Sunday school and Hebrew School program, cultural and social programs, and we are sensitive to the needs of all our members and those in the larger Jewish community.

If you are interested in finding out more about participating in the activities at Congregation Beth Shalom, or becoming a member, please contact us at: or at 979-822-2738. We would be happy to have a representative of our membership committee contact you and arrange for you to pay us a visit. Members pay annual dues depending on whether one is a family, an individual, or a student. It is our policy not to turn anyone away from membership because of an inability to pay. Membership is necessary in order to enroll children in Religious School.
